My standard fee is $200 for a 50-minute individual therapy session when paying out of pocket.
I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots ($100–$140) for clients who may need a reduced fee. Availability is limited and can be discussed during a consultation.
I am currently an in-network provider in:
New York: Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Meritain, Oscar, Oxford, UHC, UMR, and Wellfleet
Florida: Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Meritain, Oscar, Oxford, UHC, UMR, and WellfleetIf I am out of network with your plan, I can provide a monthly superbill for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies depending on your specific insurance benefits. I use Alma to help verify insurance coverage before we begin.

At this time, I provide fully virtual (online) therapy for clients located in New York and Florida.
Online therapy, also known as telehealth therapy, offers flexibility and accessibility while maintaining depth and quality of care. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
If demand for in-person sessions increases in the future, I may consider offering sessions in a shared office space in NYC.
-
Online therapy works much like in-person therapy. We meet via a secure video platform for 50-minute sessions.
I recommend joining from a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely. A stable internet connection and headphones can help enhance privacy and clarity.
Many clients find online therapy equally effective and appreciate the convenience of meeting from home.
-
Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions for at least 10–12 weeks. Consistency helps build a strong therapeutic foundation and allows deeper patterns to emerge.
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, life circumstances, and the depth of work you want to engage in. Some clients seek short-term support around a specific issue; others choose longer-term therapy for ongoing growth.
We will clarify your goals early on and revisit them regularly.

I work with adults navigating:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Life transitions (career, relocation, identity shifts)
Existential concerns (meaning, purpose, uncertainty)
Cultural adjustment and bicultural identity
Relationship and attachment patterns
High-achieving professionals feeling stuck or overwhelmed
If you’re unsure whether your concerns “qualify” for therapy, we can explore that together during a consultation.
-
In Existential Analysis, we focus on enduring uncertainty in life, cultivating trust, how we relate to life and values, responsibility, freedom, and authentic living.
Rather than only reducing symptoms, this approach explores deeper questions such as:
What matters to me?
How do I want to live?
What is my anxiety asking of me?
It can be especially helpful for people who feel thoughtful, reflective, or caught in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt.
-
Yes. I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
I have experience working with international students, first-generation professionals, and clients navigating cross-cultural identity and expectations.
Cultural context often shapes how we understand responsibility, family, achievement, and emotional expression. Therapy can be a space to examine these layers with nuance and care.
